About Us
OUR MISSION

To provide refuge and restoration to survivors of human trafficking and to empower them through the renewal of spirit, soul, and body.

OUR VISION

Breaking systemic cycles of trafficking in our communities.

OUR PURPOSE

Bringing exploited children to LASTING FREEDOM.

OUR VALUES

Christ-Centered, Spirit-Filled: We believe that God has ordained the mission of Camille Place and Samuel's Place, that Jesus is the source of all restoration, and the Holy Spirit guides our work. We will keep the Holy Trinity at the center of all we do.

Unwavering Passion: Camille Place and Samuel's Place will remain steady and resolute to our enthusiasm to bring exploited children to LASTING FREEDOM.

Empowerment: Restoration is the process of becoming stronger and more confident in controlling one's life. Camille Place and Samuel's Place exists to give that authority and power back to young children whose power was compromised by human trafficking.

Integrity: The leadership is committed to operating with the highest standards of ethics, morality, and transparency and to be above reproach at all times.

Place of Refuge: Camille Place and Samuel's Place is a place of respite, a safe haven and a shelter from the storms of human trafficking where victims of human trafficking may find restoration and redemption.

Beauty for Ashes: Camille Place believes that God is in the midst of every form of darkness. The survivors of human trafficking bear immense scars, in all forms, with great weight. Redemption comes out of the ashes just as Jesus concurred death.

"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."                         Isaiah 61:3 KJV
OUR STORY

Camille Place is an Alabama-based, 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to providing care and rehabilitation to young girls, ages 6 to 19 years old, who are the victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking.

Camille Place was founded by Chris Ziebach in 2015 with one goal in mind: to provide a safe place for children where they can step into identity and live in freedom. Chris began to have vivid dreams in late 2014 of young girls being kidnapped, assaulted and sold into captivity. Over the next several months as the dreams continued, Chris experienced numerous encounters with strangers and friends alike that solidified the vision for what Camille Place was to become. Through this journey, she discovered human trafficking was happening in our backyard, across the state, and throughout the United States. She also discovered that once rescued, there were very few organizations providing quality rehabilitation programs for survivors. Once the first location was open in August of 2023, she quicky realized the gaps in services. There was not a home for boys nor for girls who were diagnosed with mental health disorders who had been trafficked.
When the Lord provided opportunities to expand, she couldn't turn it down.

Camille Place is one of the first group homes in the United States to provide comprehensive care to include girls under the age of 19 who have been victimized by sexual exploitation and trafficking.
Samuel's Place, once open, will be the only home for boys in the United States, serving young boys up to the age of 16. Finishing touches are being made and the opening is expected by Fall of 2025.
Camille Place 2 is the 3rd facility for a more intensive program. The land has been  procured and design has begun. Safeguard measures will be in place to accomodate girls up to the age of 19 who need more trained staff in order to treat the mental and behavioral health needs of the residents.

Our facilities are located in three seperate undisclosed locations in Alabama. Just like a baby coming home who needs to be nurtured, once they arrive they receive food, shelter, and all basic needs which all humanity deserves. We invest in them so they are seen, heard, acknowledged, and significant. They matter! They are chosen and loved; created by the Most High King.
They also receive medical and psychological treatment, an accredited education, exercise, life skills, and lots of fun.

Camille Place is named in honor of the late Camille Coats, who by the age of 24 had dedicated her life to ministry and had a passion for helping exploited women and children. Camille was originally from Monroeville before passing unexpectedly while serving in a church staff position in Opelika, AL. Her legacy will continue through Camille Place as the only home for trafficked and exploited children serving girls under the age of 19 in the state of Alabama.
